Did anyone watch the match between South Africa v Ireland ?? Also the
Wales v Australia ?? The first one Ireland the game was played at such pace and ferocity they went at it for the full 80 mins a low score but that did not matter the intensity was there for al to see a fantastic spectator event.
Second Wales set about their demolititon of Australia ,they too found a spirit not seen for a while and to keep Eddie Jones 's gand tryless was a brilliant achievment all in all a fantastic weel-ends sport , with the exception of me almost falling asleep watching the clash at TURF MOOR United v Burnley ,it was so boring i nodded offf ! Well one can't have everything can one ?????

I agree the only prob i have i think those ex-rugby league Players of which i am proud for them being involved with Rugby League ,is that could they not have gone into coachingand giving something back to our league code ??? G.B.

I agree GB, they could've remained loyal and coached with league, but.... you know the old saying, Money Talks.

I was in Spain with a few ex rugby league players, we were all watching rugby union, on a screen in a bar.
I asked did they like watching union. One replied, "it's a game of rugby". Another said, "aye, it is when they're playing"!

Brasstoff/GB,
Apart from the obvious attraction of money and big crowds these players could have looked at the recent history of SL coaches and noted that it certainly helps if you have an Australian / NZ background or passport.

Aye, the Aussies and NZs are very good. Having said that the Wigan lad has had a great season. Long may he continue
